Vivobarefoot Womens Primus Lite 3.5 Shoes – Midnight

Vivobarefoot are on a mission to create a fully circular shoe – a new Vivo made from an old one, which can in turn be made into another. The Primus 3.5 is a big step forward on this journey.
With an already mechanically recyclable outsole, the challenge is making an upper from 100% polyester, which can be recycled. The new Primus Lite 3.5 upper takes us from 43% to 81% polyester, of which 94% is recycled. Why not 100%? Because some parts of the upper still need extra durability that polyester can’t yet provide.

Material
The Primus Outsole is a light and thin 2mm performance outsole that’s designed to put as little as possible between your feet and the ground. The side wall profile is as low as it can be, giving it a slightly lower profile towards the heel, and the sole subtly overlaps the toe – offering enough protection for urban environments, without compromising natural movement. Strong geometric shapes lead to strong feet, so the tread pattern uses our signature hexagonal design to help multidirectional flexibility and grip.
