Tentipi Onyx 7 CP

The Onyx is a spacious, easy-to-use Nordic tipi for both family camping and demanding trips. It’s solid, reliable and offers high performance at a good price.

The idea of the Onyx was to create a Nordic tipi for less ambitious purposes or when low weight is a priority. The entry point in the Tentipi range, to reduce weight and price, Tentipi has taken away certain features without compromising on quality or losing the unique traits of a Nordic tip.

The Onyx 7 fits, in comfort, up to 6-8 people sleeping, and 11-14 people sitting.

Comfort
A simplified top vent cap is adjustable from inside the tent and unlike the Zirkon and Safir, there are no lower vents or stove integration, making it only ideally suitable with use with an open fire. The door features a integrated mosquito net for insect free ventilation and strong ground tensioners fitted with metal peg rings are adaptable to ensure your tent is pitched perfectly every time.

Material
The Cotpolmex C is a strong and well-ventilating cotton/ polyester fabric which gives an indoor climate far superior to that of a normal tent. The natural colour creates a warm, pleasant atmosphere, and it is quiet, allowing you to get a good night’s sleep. This fabric is designed for 3-4 week annual use, making it a good option for family camping.

Reinfomex C, 50cm reinforcement edging around the bottom of the tent is stronger than the main fabric, and further increases the life of the tent. This edging can be turned inwards to easily seal draughts using packs or an additional floor, or turned outwards and sealed using stones, earth or snow.

Pitching
Easy to use, the Onyx 7 features a singular pole and can be pitched in just three minutes, offering ample space for couples, small groups, glampers, trippers, and it will even fit on wild camping spots.

Optional Additions – Available Separately
Designed to be used on its own. This tipi is ready for use with a floor or inner tent via adjustable floor tensioners.

An additional toggle in half, or whole Floor, protects against condensation, ground dampness and offers reliable protection from insects. Bonus, the whole floor’s can even be left attached!
Half, or whole Inners offers reliable protection from insects and condensation, and retains more heat.

A circular aluminium drying rail sits neatly at the top of your tent. These enable you to hang up your washing or simply dry out your kit, especially handy if using a heat source as it makes good use of the heat before it escapes.
