The Earthrise Women’s Hooded Jacket is filled with 132 grams of 700 fill power down which, like all the down Mountain Equipment source, is free from any additional chemical treatments. The Earthrise strikes a balance between the warmth required for more serious use and the low weight and pack size that means it can be carried as a back-up plan on longer days.

Our Mountain HC Insulated Hood adds valuable extra warmth and protection, giving an already versatile jacket even greater range. The jacket is completely windproof, featuring a fluorocarbon-free water-repellent finish, and will happily fend off melting flakes of snow or a brief shower.

With two zipped hand warmer pockets, an outer chest pocket, an internal zipped pocket for essentials such as keys and the ability to pack the whole thing away into one its hand pockets and to be stowed on a harness, the Earthrise Hooded Women’s Jacket is a valuable all-round insulated mountain layer.
